Project Manager
Responsible for planning, executing and close-out of commercial green roof projects. Daily coordination with vendors to order materials and stay up to date on shipments, schedule equipment rentals and communicate with crew staff. Perform budgeting, change-orders, invoices and forecast potential field conflicts. Collaboration with General Contractors, Subcontractors of other trades and other field staff on site as well as through email and phone correspondence. Manage installation crew’s schedule and give directions to Foremen. Additionally, communicate with office staff to report job statuses, crew expenses and changes. Ability to work independently and take initiative to complete projects following a strict timeline. Skilled at multi-tasking: must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously at different phases.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Valid Driver’s License and own transportation
- Organization skills
- Communication skills
- Technologically proficient: Outlook, Excel
- Quick thinker and problem solver
- Outgoing & Authoritative
- Initiative taker
- In good physical health as this position will require some physical labor
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, Building Construction Management, Environmental Sciences or related field
- Experience with Autocad / Bluebeam (or other similar drawing takeoff program)
- Construction or Project Management experience
- Intermediate knowledge of plants
- Scheduling experience
- Experience managing personnel
- Fluent in Spanish
